By this point you’ve already heard about Happn. Hell, you probably heard about it on this very site. But just in case you haven’t, Happn is the dating app that uses unique real-time, hyper-geolocation technology, to connect people when their paths cross in real life. This means that you can finally connect with that person you always see on your morning commute but that you never talk to because your coffee hasn’t kicked in yet. You know who I’m talking about.

Anyways, they’ve got a brand new feature that you’ll probably get pretty excited about. It’s called “See You There” and it encourages more meet ups between users.

Singletons (that’s you!) will now be able to share on their Happn profile that they’re up for doing certain activities for the next few hours. That could be anything from getting a drink to seeing a movie to going for a run. While I think spontaneously going on a run for a first date sounds like hell, the idea that people you’ve crossed paths with can suggest an immediate date is pretty rad. It’s way better than spending a month messaging back and forth and never actually meeting up.

Just look at these adorable people in the video below to show you how “See You There” works.

So there you have it. Maybe you can use See You There to find out if your favorite commuter wants to get a cup of coffee before you both head into work. And if it works out, please name your first child after me.
