Rich Silverstein: I Read the News Today Oh Boy

Art and current events merge in this new solo presentation by Rich Silverstein. The exhibition features a series of works created with text and images hand-ripped from The New York Times, and reflects on the odd ironies and surreal experience of the Trump era.

Who says you can’t party till dawn on a school night? Taco Tuesdays at the Valencia Room will bring the weekend to your Tuesday! Join the Tenderloin Museum’s artist-in-residence Deirdre Weinberg to celebrate the opening of her new exhibition of portraiture. Made during the past two years, the prolific series of portraits was made in-house at the museum, where Weinberg painted her subjects – all Tenderloin locals – and let them tell their stories. This exhibition brings those conversations to the forefront, and weaves a fascinating tapestry of local, living artwork.
