This last weekend at BottleRock brought together hundreds of musicians, chefs, vintners, brewers, and distillers for a three-day blend of music, wine, food, craft brews, and spirits. Viewers can enjoy a live performance from any of their four stages with their eyes shut.

Recently Netflix and Hulu both released their documentaries about Fyre Fest. All my friends have watched it … then they called me and were like, “OMG … Did you see the documentaries? It’s so good, how bad this festival was.” To which I have to reply, “ARE YOU FREAK’N SERIOUS?! I’m planning my biggest event of the year … NO, I’m not watching a documentary about how everything could go wrong for festival organizers!”

Formerly branded by its location on an island, the new location is huddled under the impressively tall container cranes at the Port of Oakland. According to local lore, the cranes were the inspiration for the AT-AT Walkers from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

There are large projection screens, propane fire, sparklers, streamers, confetti, steam cannons, and shiny things all over the stage to stimulate you at a Marshmello show.
