Sure, DocFest presents film screenings and appearances by film talent, just like other film festivals. One of the world’s finest examples of terrible art was brazenly stolen from 518 Gallery in the Mission, in front of dozens of witnesses, including the painting’s buyer and the festival’s organizers. The caper gone wrong, ended in betrayal and blackmail.
