Schmooze This Christmas at Brooklyn Bowl

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Somewhere along the line, the folks over at Brooklyn Bowl recognized the Jew’s Christmas hardship. On a day where evergreens and messianic mangers dominate, its easy for the non-Christmas-celebrating-few to feel a bit left out. Which is why Brooklyn’s favorite bowling alley last year launched Matzah Bowl, a winning combination of God’s favorite people and everyone’s favorite pastime.

Jolly Bowl offers more of what made last year’s holiday party entry a success with both Jews and gentiles – food, drink, and, of course, music. Accompanying Brooklyn Bowl’s Blue Ribbon restaurant and an on-site Kosher vendor will be a handful of 'œBands of the Tribe', including Pey David and J. Viewz.

Better yet, a dollar out of every ten goes to Picks for Peace, a organization that raises awareness of child abuse in an effort to prevent it. Not bad for a Christmas gift.
