FREE Booze at 303 Grand and Macri Park

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Tonight is a great night for FREE booze in Williamsburg. Start out at 303 Grand, a pop-up store that’s currently home to The Insound Design Store. Their online store sells indie vinyl and CDs, and their pop-up store is specializing  in “well-designed music gifts.” While you’re looking around and debating exactly what constitutes a “well-designed music gift,” you can do it with beer in hand. The store is giving away FREE Budwiser from 7pm to 10pm tonight while some badass DJs play. After you finish shopping, head over to Macri Park for Dum Dum Ditty to hear a DJ play soul, hip hop and r&b. Then wait for the stroke of vodka o’clock and drink up! From 11pm to 12am, the bar is giving away vodka for absolutely FREE.

Kiley E - Ragamuffin Researcher

After years of denial, Kiley has finally admitted to baring a striking resemblance to Velma from Scooby Doo. Instead of traveling in a van hunting ghosts, she prefers wandering on foot in search of tacos, cheap beer, and fake birds. Growing up in Portland, Kiley enjoyed the balance of urban and green spaces. Then she spent her four years at Ithaca College, and found herself craving more sprawling asphalt in her life. So she moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where most of the buildings look like they're about to collapse. Kiley's favorite activities include: getting lost, crafting, sewing, biking, and geeking out at museums. Her love of taxidermy probably makes her a terrible vegetarian, but she doesn't care.
