Win Tickets to The Bold Italic’s Spring Fling Dance

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I love The Bold Italic. Not only do they have incredible design and wonderfully written articles, they also help pay my bills by publishing some of the pieces I’ve written (like this one, this one, and this one). By this point I’m sure many of you have been to one of their “micro-hood” parties, but did you get a chance to make it to their Winter Formal last year? I didn’t and I regretted it; that’s all motherfuckers talked about for a week afterwards. Because of that I’m not gonna miss my chance to hit up their Spring Fling this Saturday. And you shouldn’t either, it’s gonna be dope.

Once again The Bold Italic has joined up with Dusty Stax Presents to bring you a funky ass dance party. The 11 piece supergroup, the Gold Star Band will be knocking out your favorite soul classics and another SF legend Ike’s Place will be on hand to slang sandwiches. Plus everyone who attends will get a FREE cocktail from Kanon Organic Vodka. And this ain’t no run-of-the-mill Saturday night, you’re expected to dress up and make yourself look spiffy. Hell, I may even break out my dress-up cowboy boots. There’s a ton more details about the music and festivities here so check it out.

And now the most important part: winning a pair of tickets to this grand event. All you gotta do is email us at Contests@BrokeAssStuart.com. Winners will be chosen at random and entrants will be added to our list and the Bold Italic’s list.

Good luck kiddos!
