Anyone who has spent anything more than 5 minutes with me knows I love to tell stories…ok fine, I’m a blabbermouth. But I also love to hear them too. I mean who doesn’t right (and don’t say “deaf people” asshole)? And since you’re reading this site I imagine you also love FREE stuff. This is why I’m so excited for this event.

On Friday April 12th KALW is presenting Heard Here: Extraordinary stories of ordinary people. As you can guess by the title, various people are gonna get up and tell crazy ass stories. These include “A surfer takes on a Maverick wave. A woman turns a transportation problem into an LGBT taxi service. A writer acquires an unexpected tenant – and his house plant.” Cool right? And not only is it FREE but the person who reached out to me said there would be FREE wine too. I don’t have the specifics of that though. Overall, it sounds like it’s gonna be a pretty rad event. Go here to learn more about the readers and go here to rsvp on FB. Hooray for fun and free!

Broke-Ass Stuart - Editor In Cheap
