“Joanne Weaver, will perform at The Wooly on May 30, 2015 in support of her second album, Interstellar Songbook II, set to release June 2, 2015. Weaver and her band will perform the entire LP as a theatrical piece in the mysterious, Alice in Wonderland-like underbelly of the Woolworth Building (aka The Wooly). The band will consist of a loop-playing guitarist, a futuristic DJ and a drummer mixing live percussion and electronically-triggered loops. Dancers from Fred Astaire Dance Studios will perform a special dance routine at the show, and the studio will also provide special discounts for ballroom dance lessons to all attendees. Doors open at 7:30pm, and admission is free.”
