100K Tulips In SF, & You Can Pick Your Own for Free
Why this is happening a few weeks AFTER Valentine’s Day is beyond me, but Tulip Day is a Dutch-inspired day that was invented to celebrate the opening of Tulip Season in Amsterdam. Anyway, next month there will be 100k + tulips in Union Square San Francisco, and they’re free! Deets below:
Pick your own bunch of tulips on Flower Bulb Day in San Francisco!
Tulip Day is coming to America! On March 7, 2020, a colorful display of more than 100,000 tulips will cover Union Square in San Francisco. And you are being invited to visit this site and to pick your own bunch of tulips.
The ”tulip garden” at Union Square will open to the public at 1:00 p.m. and it will be closed at 4:30 p.m. By that time, all 100,000 tulips will have been picked and will soon be giving many American households a wonderful feeling of early spring. And something else: March 8 is International Women’s Day! So, what better way to celebrate this special day than with a bunch of fresh colorful tulips?
Access to the garden is free and so are the tulips! We expect a lot of people, so if you plan to visit the event, we encourage you to use public transport.
