‘Family Guy’ Does Vaccine PSA, MAGAs Furious With Cartoon Baby
OH GAWD, Brian. 1900s-era animated series Family Guy returns for yet another season this Sunday night, so in hopes of some free good publicity, Seth MacFarlane and the show’s creators did a three-minute, forty-second public service announcement encouraging people to get the COVID-19 vaccine. It’s pretty funny (for Family Guy) and can be seen below.
Watch the new #FamilyGuy Short! Stewie and Brian travel inside Peter’s body to explain how vaccines work.

But MAGA Nation, anti-vaxxers, and Joe Rogan Experiencers are pretty stewed over the whole thing.
Is it me or has Stewie gotten dumber and dumber as the show has gone on?
He used to be the smartest one in a house full of idiots. But now he’s dumber than the others combined

Some worry this represents the cognitive decline of a cartoon baby who has remained in perpetual infancy for 22 years.
Didnt they outlaw Joe camel for this shit? Ya know, using cartoons to push dishonest propaganda on people? https://t.co/Yo7hmGYomS

Others are concerned that this might undermine more responsible public health messaging about Ivermectin, hyrdochloroquine, and injecting yourself with bleach.
Thanks for completely ignoring the deaths from this line of vaccinations! 😀👍 https://t.co/ltHKRCqJvC

There are also worries that this fictional cartoon might draw attention away from a fictional cartoon death count.

And what will become of “the Family Guy way” that is so critical to the fabric of our nation?
And some people rightfully called out the lack of attention to proper public safety protocols.
