Free Admission to the Pez Museum Today

I dont know which of these two is more terrifying.

I don't know which of these two is more terrifying.

Yes that’s right.  Some absolute genius in Burlingame decided to create a museum devoted entirely to the strange and wondrous Pez and it’s dispensers.  Apparently the rarest Pez dispenser in the collection is worth $5,000 and is a Mr. Potato Head character that was was taken off the market in 1973 because of chocking hazards.  Well at least that’s what it says on FunCheapSF (Attn: Johnny FunCheap – you better not be lying to me.  I know where you live and I take my Pez very seriously).

While I don’t think I could bring myself to actually pay to go into this museum, I don’t have to worry about that today.  It’s free the first Thursday of the month.  Hooray for free stuffis!  Since it’s the first Thursday tons of galleries in SF are free.  Remember THIS post?

Broke-Ass Stuart - Editor In Cheap

I've been called "an Underground legend": SF Chronicle , "an SF cult hero": SF Bay Guardian, and "the chief of cheap": Time Out New York, but to those familiar with my work, I'm just "that douchebag who writes books about cheap stuff and drinks a lot".
