DIY: Solar Sun Jar
It’s rainy, it’s wet, it’s nearly Christmas, I’ve done none of my shopping, I have a migraine and for some reason my laptop will not pick up WiFi. This basically sucks.
What doesn’t suck? Sun Jars.
Sun jars are pretty easy but you will have to locate some solar garden lights '“ a hardware store and roughly $3 – $5 should get the job done '“ and a glass jar. Also: Blue Tak or some type of adhesive and glass frosting spray. Spray the bottom half of the glass with the frosting spray, snag the solar panel and battery pack and mount them on the underside of the lid. (You’ll need to let the jar 'œrecharge' in sunlight, so plan on setting it near a window regularly.) Now you’ve got a neat glowing Sun Jar for crap grey days when you’re feeling like a less cheerful version of Morrissey.
Get a creepy effect by adding glow in the dark paint
