The Bust Holiday Craftacular
The holiday season is now in full swing, and since New York doesn’t have an abundance of malls (heavy sigh of relief), pop-up markets are springing up all over the city. Last week I wrote about the Winter Market at Public Assembly, which will be returning this Sunday as well. But if you’re looking for something really unique this holiday, it’s time to get thee to the Metropolitan Pavillion for Bust Magazine’s annual Holiday Craftacular.
With over 200 vendors, and free gift bags for early attendees, it makes the daunting task of holiday shopping a little cheerier. There’s literally something for everyone, from original artwork, jewelry, clothing, food, beauty, and men’s gear, I can’t imagine you’ll leave empty handed. And though some may associate “crafty” gifts with this. The craftacular has an excellent track record of showing off the best of artisan wares. You won’t find a trace of puffy paint here. Plus it never hurts to have cute animals on the premises, with Animal Care and Control NYC bringing pets that are up for adoption. So skip the candy-striped booths and Union Square and get crafty with BUST this Sunday. Besides how many technicolor Obama portraits does one really need?
