Tropfest New York 2012 FREE at Bryant Park

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Tropfest New York 2012 is in town this weekend at New York’s Bryant Park. The world’s largest short film festival hosted by Hugh Jackman will begin at 3pm, with live music/DJ’s performing before the main event. The short film competition will be judged by an industry and celebrity panel, beginning at 7:30pm.

The event is FREE with an RSVP (which you can get here), the maximum is four spaces per booking and it’s recommended that you arrive before 5pm because space will be limited. However, after 5pm no reservation is required, but once again, remember that space is limited.

Tropfest New York 2012 is proudly supported by Citi, JetBlue, Thompson Hotels, Starz Cinema, WNYC, NBC 4, Film Society Lincoln Center and more! For more info see:

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

My father came, my mother saw...and I conquered. I encourage children to do drugs, I buy alcohol for teenagers, and I drink beer with the homeless. In my spare time, I attend art galleries for the FREE booze while rubbing elbows with modish elephants. I also hammer six-inch nails into small penises. Stuart knighted me as Broke-Ass King of New York. You've been warned.
