$1 Beer Bust and FREE BBQ at Honey Soundsystem’s Folsom Opening Party

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If your chomping at the bit in frenzied anticipation of this year’s Folsom Street Fair, then wipe yourself off a tad and head down to The Holy Cow on Sunday.  The resident mixers of sound, Honey Soundsystem are the official welcome wagon for this coming week’s frisky business.

Honey usually starts at a much later hour, but they will be opening up services this Sunday at 6 p.m. The standard $5 cover remains the same, but early risers can partake in free barbecue to sustain them ‘til 2.  In addition to the meat they will also be hosting a $1.00 beer bust until 8 pm, which is a nice reprieve from the usual $7.00 drink price.

Git along little daddy!

Stephen Torres - Threadbare-Fact Finder (Editor, San Francisco)

Stephen's early years were spent in a boxcar overlooking downtown Los Angeles. From there he moved around the state with his family before settling under the warm blanket of smog that covers suburban Southern California. Moving around led to his inability to stay in one place for very long, but San Francisco has been reeling him back in with its siren song since 1999.
By trade he pours booze, but likes to think he can write and does so occasionally for the SF Bay Guardian, Bold Italic and 7x7. He also likes to enjoy time spent in old eateries, bars and businesses that, by most standards, would have been condemned a long time ago.
