TONIGHT: The Lindsey Buckingham Appreciation Society Performs TUSK at Littlefield

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

The Lindsey Buckingham Appreciation Society will be at Littlefield tonight performing Fleetwood Mac’s landmark 1979 album, Tusk.  This unique band blends members from The War on Drugs, Papas Fritas, Pernice Brothers, Buried Beds, Nightlands, and Danielson. Having first performed Tusk in its entirety in 2010 at Boston, Brooklyn, and Philly, TLBAS is looking to do it all over again tonight!

“The lineup this time out features founding members Charlie Hall (vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with Jens Lekman, The War on Drugs, Windsor for the Derby, Tommy Guerrero and leader of the Philadelphia-based male choral ensemble The Silver Ages) and Patrick Berkery (who has played drums with The War on Drugs, Pernice Brothers, Danielson, John Wesley Harding, Mazarin and others) joined by past TLBAS participants Tony Goddess (Papas Fritas, Jenny Dee & The Deelinquents), Birdie Busch (a Philadelphia-based singer and songwriter), Dave Hartley (The War on Drugs, Nightlands), and Eliza Hardy Jones (Buried Beds).”

The doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm. For more information about The Lindsey Buckingham Appreciation Society, please visit, like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter  (@TLBAS).

Broke-Ass of the Week: Shawn Brewster of Oldboy

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

My father came, my mother saw...and I conquered. I encourage children to do drugs, I buy alcohol for teenagers, and I drink beer with the homeless. In my spare time, I attend art galleries for the FREE booze while rubbing elbows with modish elephants. I also hammer six-inch nails into small penises. Stuart knighted me as Broke-Ass King of New York. You've been warned.
