Debauchery – Hot Queer Burlesque in the Nation’s Oldest Gay Bar

After a full day of spanking, whipping and getting all pervy on each other at Folsom Street Fair shoot on over the bridge…(YES, the bridge) and watch queer ladies dance and shimmy their lovely lady lumps at you at Oakland’s monthly drag/burlesque show at the White Horse Bar – Debauchery!
Did you know White Horse Bar is the nation’s oldest gay bar? It included a restaurant and lounge, with an atmosphere that oozed class and style with red leather chairs, fresh flowers and jazz music. In the 40’s and 50’s it was one of the only places that welcomed gays, even if they couldn’t actually show affection towards each other. No kissing or hand holding. Both gay and lesbian patrons shared The White Horse in an accepting environment away from the people that allowed them only fear and hatred.
These days the White Horse is open to anybody and everybody who is queer friendly. A night spot with low lighting, pool tables and bar stools. It also has a stage area. That, my dears, is where the magic happens. Parties are held weekly and monthly for the entire LGBT community and none are more queer friendly than Debauchery! A monthly drag/burlesque review that is also a nonprofit raising funds for the LGBT community. Sexytime philanthropy, folks!!!
Il Nocturnal
There is no fake boobied Christina Aguilera, diva Cher nor vicious back-up dancers at this burlesque show. You will witness dope acrobatic stripping by Il Nocturnal and gender bending performance art by D Love Fella-Fem – a couple of Debauchery’s resident performers. Add to that boobies, pasties, tattoos, fleshy naked parts, and booze and you’ll have yourself a fun time!! Don’t forget to bring dollah dollah bills ya’ll! It is highly encourage to make it rain on the performers.

Dottie Lux
The show is hosted by the hilarious and glamourous Dottie Lux of Red Hot Burlesque. She adds dirty flirty commentary throughout show and is the MC for the raffle. That’s right. There’s a raffle. Guess what the prizes are? SEXYTIME STUFF!! Whips, handcuffs, vibrators and even nipple clamps. All essential items for your boudoir. Remember, all proceeds go towards supporting the LGBT community. Past organizations include AIDS Ride, Pride and various LGBT groups in the Bay Area.
