The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

ragedoante-app

Are you angry and hurt that our country has elected Donald Trump? That we’ve allowed racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and bad self tanner into the White House? Well now you can direct that anger and do good work with RageDonate.

Over the weekend I got a press release for RageDonate, a fantastic new site that identifies, and let’s you donate directly to, the organizations that help groups attacked by Trump during his campaign. Here is the blurb:

A collective of creatives and technical folk across the USA called #RageAgainstHate came together in their personal capacity to build RageDonate.com. The site will show statements from Donald Trump on different topics, such as immigration, mass incarceration, muslims, sexual assault, etc and link them to an organization already doing great work to protect these people. Ragedonate doesn’t take any cut or fee. The funds donated go directly to the organizations Stripe accounts. Stripe have kindly agreed to waive fees for donations upto $15,000 to each organization.

Here are the organizations do all this hard, amazing work:

Define American
CAIR-AZ
#HateHurts
Freedom of the Press Foundation
Project Callisto
LiveFree USA

Learn more and go donate at RageDonate.com. Please spread the word and use the hashtag #RageDonate when doing so.

Thank you for giving a shit and supporting the people that need it the most. We must love and defend one another.
