The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

holiday sweater

Via Downtown Rachel Brown:

Bust out your ugliest holiday sweater and come to the Wharf for a night of drinks and merriment! The evening begins with a check-in at Castagnola’s waterside restaurant where you will be given six drink tickets. Start the night off right with music, a drink, light finger foods, and a fun photo opp all while enjoying the beautiful panoramic views of the Fisherman’s Wharf lagoon.

Most importantly though, this event is to in support of the Share the Warmth coat drive for San Francisco’s Homeless. Please bring a new or clean and gently-used coat, jacket, or hoodie size L-4XL only to donate at check-in.  Give the gift of warmth to some of San Francisco’s vulnerable street population. (Not required but strongly encouraged)

Five fun stops on the wharf:

  • Gold Dust Lounge – A piece of San Francisco history (165 Jefferson St.)
  • Fiddler’s Green – Irish pub off the beaten path (1333 Columbus Ave.)
  • Luau Lounge – The Wharf’s secret Tiki bar (PIER 39 2nd floor)
  • Jack’s Cannery Bar – Tucked away in the historic Cannery building (441 Jefferson St.)
  • Brick & Beam – a hip new take on a hotel bar (555 North Point St.)
