CUESA’s Ninth Annual Goat Festival (aka #Goatchella) is a free event. But, you have to pay to play…with the kids. You know, baby goats? They also have an artisanal cheese tasting. And both are SOLD OUT! Fortunately, we happen to have a pair of tickets for both. One lucky winner will win a pair of tickets for a eight-minutes of glorious goat petting and cheese tasting.

Join CUESA for a celebration of all things goat! Explore the wonders of goats, meet local ranchers and food crafters, sample artisan cheeses, and unleash your inner “kid” at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Petting time slots include a five-minute period to line up before the petting, eight-minutes in the pen with the goats, and a two-minute buffer period to transition between groups. Please show up on time with your printed ticket and time slot. Due to high demand, they cannot offer you a different time slot if you miss your allotted time frame.

Even if you missed out on tickets, Goat Festival includes plenty of free goat-inspired fun, including a goat viewing area, goaty arts & crafts, a farmers market scavenger hunt, a goat cheese cooking demo, and a talk with farmers about humane animal agriculture.

Saturday, April 15, 2017 11:15AM – 11:30AM | SF Ferry Building RSVP here if you’re go(at)ing!

Don’t forget to check out Mestiza Taquera (and two time Chopped champion) chef Sophina Uong who will be doing a market to table demo in the CUESA classroom from 10:30AM – 11:15AM
