Free $13 Cocktails and Lost Season Finale Party

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Because it is game 7 of the Penguins/Caps game, I’ll be camped out in someone else’s Laz-E-Boy, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go out.  In fact, you SHOULD go out, because one less moustachioed skeeze will be infesting the nightlife waters.  Here are some safe early options, because if the game is a blowout, I might go out afterall.

5-6 PM
Since it’s Wednesday, you know I have to shower some love on the Blue Owl (196 2ndAve. nr. corner of 12th).  If you don’t know, each Wednesday from 5-6 pm they offer one of their specialty cocktails (regularly priced at $13) for free.  Now you know, sucker.  This week its the Barnstormer:  Martin Millers Gin, Cherry Heering, muddled cherries and rose water.

7-8 PM
If you want to keep drinking for nearly free, take the train out the Bell House ( 149 7th Street in Brooklyn), home to last night’s lecture on the molecular basis of memory formation, for a Lost Season5  Finale Party.  $5 cover gets you free Sailor Jerry Station Punch and an aural tickling from SNL worthy “Previously On Lost”, a recap band.    Sailor Jerry open bar runs from 7-8pm.  Finally, its topped off with “$3 Dharma beers, “Smoke Monster cotton candy” and “Dharma cupcakes”, according to MyOpenBar.
