The Greatest Author Reading Ever (Totally Serious) w/ Jason Myers & Broke-Ass Stuart
I’m really excited for this event! I’m going to be debuting a really special, brand new piece called “Why You Should Fuck a Writer”. I’ve been working on it for like a year and a half. It’ll be the kind of thing you’ll be proud to say you were at the very first reading of. When this piece publishes it will be up there in popularity with some of my most famous pieces like “Living in S.F. Means” and “Why Are All My Friends Moving to Oakland?“. The event you’ve all been anticipating for months is finally here! That’s right, Jason Myers, author of four novels, including the bestsellers, Exit Here and The Mission, and Stuart Schuffman (aka Broke-Ass Stuart), who runs one of the best goddamn websites in the world, and has written 3 famous travel guides, will be reading for the first time together on Saturday, October 12th at the Density Store on Valencia Street in between 16th & 17th.
The event goes from 7-9 with Stuart reading from 7:15-7:45 and Jason reading from 8-8:45 or so. It’s an all ages event and it’s fucking FREE and wine and beer will be served as well. The shop itself is fairly small and it will get filled to capacity so we’d advise you all to get there before 7 to ensure that you’ll be able to actually get inside to witness this ridiculously entertaining and wild spectacle. Both authors have promised to read pieces that will have you laughing, possibly crying, stunned, and begging for more. What more can you say? This is an event for the ages and we’d fucking love to see all of you there so we can truly make it the most memorable author event of the year!
