The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news
manarchy

Just one of the many awesome performers at Manarchy

Holy smokes! Here we are with Weird & Wonderful w/ Broke-Ass Stuart ep. 6! Can you believe we’ve already done 6 episodes? I’m sure you’ve already listened to the first 5 and you’re just drooling for this one. Well luckily for you, this one is absolutely worthy of drooling over.

Our guests this time are Meta Mitchell and Jesi Ringofire.

Meta runs the infamous Mitchell Brothers O’Farrell Theatre, taking the mantle from the father and uncle. She’s turned the smaller room the Cinestage into a weirder, artsy, strip club/performance venue that pushes boundaries by having gender non-conforming dancers as well as, kinky karaoke – where people sing while dancers take off their clothes. It’s a venue inside of a venue, and houses all types of performance art shows that can not be found anywhere else.

Jesi started Manarchy, an all male extreme burlesque review. There are fire dancers, themed performances, and yes lots are dongs too.
