San Francisco’s X-Rated Cake Gallery has REOPENED!!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Eating cake will never be the same…again.

The famed cake designers of The Cake Gallery are back at work this week, making edible masterpieces for your birthdays and bar mitzvahs.  Which is a godsend, because everyone could use a good laugh and something sweet after this fucking year.

Back in September Cake Gallery had to close with their lease running out.

After 38 years of serving customized cakes to the Bay Area, Cake Gallery closed it’s SoMa location forever in late September.  But now they’ve found a new shop and have officially reopened at 1661 Tennessee St in Dog Patch!   We asked the owner Jerry Carson and Cake Gallery baker Tom about their current situation, they wrote, “while the pandemic has hugely affected business, we moved to a better place.”

You guys seriously, David Bowie? They can do anything.

They can do 3D cakes of your favorite objects, with whatever writing you want.

We are also happy to report that they’ve retained the same exact staff and ownership, and that they can still make your weirdest cake fantasy come true.  Whether you want someone’s portrait on a cake or their penis, the artists at Cake Gallery got you covered, it really makes an occasion memorable.

Cake Gallery does free delivery with 24hours notice and can be reached by phone or email!
