Free Saki-Soaked Sushi at Sapporo Haru
Usually the words “cheap” and “sushi” do not sit so well together; ending only in feelings of remorse and painful, painful nausea. But Sapporo Haru is not your typical toilet bowl hugging mistake. Sure, the decor is stale and reminiscent of a doctor’s office, but that’s jus cuz they wanna keep things real. Also, you will soon forget about it when you are super effing drunk on all the free saki they give you!
Spend $10 and you are privy to the bounty of free booze. You won’t even have to spend much above that with sushi combos floating around $12-$15 that all come with miso soup or salad. For non-raw fish enthusiasts, there are tons of noodle and teriyaki options beyond the typical edamame. Bring a date, bring yourself, or bring a group and get the love boat of sushi, no one’s gonna walk away hungry or sober.
