Pour Beer at Oktoberfest to Help the Rad Nonprofit One Brick (plus get free stuff)

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news
oktoberfest-onebrick

Look at these volunteers having so much fun!

OneBrick.org is a really rad nonprofit that offers free, fun, social outings while trying out different ways to give back to the community. It’s a great way to earn some badly needed karma points without longterm commitments.

One of the big things they’ve got coming up is the opportunity to volunteer at Oktoberfest. By doing so you get:

Perks for Volunteering:
– Free entry into the event
– Free T-Shirt
– $12 for food or beer
– If you pour during a closing shift, you will get a free beer stein and 2 passes to Oktoberfest for Sunday

And in turn some of the money made at Oktboberfest goes to helping support One Brick.

Volunteers pour beer for thirsty partiers and then celebrate in the true tradition of Munich’s famed Oktoberfest. The festival will include nonstop music, dancing, singing, and the very best in German food and drink.

One Brick volunteers will be staffing the beer taps at various locations inside the pier. Be sure to bring your photo ID.

Make sure you don’t miss out on the fun! They are running out of spaces fast!
