Lower Haight Art Walk TONIGHT!
If you didn’t venture out last night for the first Thursday of the month art stuff, don’t you worry — you can still start April off right with the Lower Haight Art Walk! Tonight from 7pm-10pm along Haight Street between Scott and Webster, there will be FREE art to ponder, store discounts, drink specials and MORE (you know the art walk scene by now, which means you know that by “MORE,” I’m talking about your roommate getting blasted and making out with multiple guys/girls with greasy hair sporting black American Apparel zip-up hoodies).
Of particular note is that resident SF band Thee Oh Sees and The Walker Bros. will be playing at Idle Hand Tattoo Studio while you indulge in the $60 “Get What You Get” tattoo deal. Hopefully this is not what it sounds like and you actually do get some input into what will be inked on your lower back for all eternity (and hey, perfect time for that cowboy tat you’ve been talking about forever, you big wuss). After, head next door to Noc Noc for $3 glasses of wine and decor that will get progressively more weird and fucked-up-looking the more you drink. If you’re itching for more music, the 400 block of Haight St. has got you covered with some Electric Sister.
Amidst all this merriment, don’t forget to stop into the galleries to scope out the FREE snacks/refreshments situation, the heart and soul of every art walk.
