Comedy Central’s Colossal Clusterfest

It’s the Outside Lands of Comedy, for 3 days the best comedians in the world will take over the Civic Center and Bill Graham auditorium.  Burr, Seinfeld, Hart, the broads from Broad City, TJ Miller from Silicon Valley, there’s even going to be a recreation of Paddy’s Pub from Always Sunny for god’s sake…hosting daily flip-cup tournaments…See yas out there!

Pints For Paws

Sample a selection of 80+ craft beers from 20+ local breweries while benefiting Berkeley Humane. Meet small, local craft brewers, cider makers and artisanal wine makers and sample a wide mix of unique brews. Don’t miss a great range of food from local food trucks and vendors. Dirty Bird BBQ @ Treasure Island

Dancing day parties on Treasure Island are part of the San Franciscan experience. Dirty Bird is dishing out great food, a great crowd and ‘saucy sets from your favorite DJs’.  The Best In Show costumes and totems contest is back!  An additional $20 “feast” ticket will get you a plate full of authentic BBQ goodness.

Beginners Parkour Class

SF Parkour hosts a free Beginner’s Parkour Class at noon on the second Saturday of each month. It is geared towards first timers and lasts 1.5 hours.

Public Art Unveiling With Taiko Drummers

Swing by the Asian Art Museum after work on June 15th for their free Living Innovation Zone launch party. They will have live performances by jazz musicians and taiko drummers, delicious eats from SOMA StrEat food trucks, drinks from the Tres Truck, and will be unveiling a new public art sculpture in Civic Center. After you’re full and happy, shimmy inside the Asian Art museum to enjoy its priceless collection; admission is only $10 after 5PM on Thursdays!

Creative Dissent with Tania Bruguera @ YBCA

Cuban artist and political activist Tania Bruguera is at the YBCA this month teaching classes on creative dissent and the power structure.   It’s a wide-ranging collaboration in which the art center performs the functions of a civic institution, and they want you to join up.
