Artists Move to Install ‘Majestic Fountain’ on top of the Salesforce Tower
San Franciscans are acutely aware of the massive tower Salesforce built on their skyline. Some local commentators have complained about the new building, calling it a symbol of greed and excess from Silicon Valley, others just bemoan that it is the tallest and most expensive building ever put up in San Francisco, one local mayoral candidate went as far as to call the new tower ‘a giant butt plug‘, But now a local artist wishes to embrace the massive new member of our skyline by installing a “majestic and artistic fountain on top of the Salesforce Tower”.
Local artist and cocktail waitress at The Great Northern Micah Brynes is asking you to sign a petition in support of the art project: Micah had this to say about the project:
“The San Francisco skyline has been forever changed by the large erect Salesforce tower thrusting up into the heavens. While it is a glorious sight to behold, I think we can make it better!! I propose to install an artistic fountain at the tip of the tower (above the shaft). To conserve water we will build 2 large spherical water tanks at the base of the tower that will collect and recycle the water as it flows down the shaft of the building.”
Please sign this petition to show your support for helping us beautify the tower and the skyline!
