Bummed You’re Missing Fashion Week?
Marc Jacobs, Spring 2011
We are interrupting the third in our series of back to school looks for this special announcement — IT’S NEW YORK FASHION WEEK! For those squares who are still wearing JNCO’s and Jellies, New York Fashion week is the biggest event in the industry that helps predict the trends in both men and women’s fashion for upcoming seasons. This week, the fine and fashionable are descending on the first ever show at Lincoln Center [Previously, NYFW had been held at Bryant Park] to preview the new designs for Fall 2011. Though the week is nearly over and we have failed at obtaining access, along with Lindsey Lohan, I have compiled a list of shows that you can watch live via the internet and check out all of the haute offerings for the coming year. Best part about this option? Sure, you don’t get to rub shoulders with Heidi Klum, but at least you can watch it with your PJ’s on, and with a burger in hand. Not very chic but not everyone can be Lady Gaga.
Remember, all times are set to New York, so adjust your dials accordingly!
