Neighbourhood designation is a debate that never tires in this town. I suppose that’s true of most places, but before you know it you’ll be at a party where two people are squaring off over what amounts to a one block radius. Old Todo guides are cited and people are breaking out Muni maps. Old timers sigh and roll their eyes.
Tomorrow’s event celebrates a seemingly new area they refer to as the Mission Mid-Twenties. Whether less an appellation than a way of breaking up the grand swath that is the Mission at large, is hard to say, but there will be a few of the section’s newer merchants hawking their wares and giving away free treats like ice cream, beer, prosecco, and mead (yes, mead.)
Supplies are limited make sure to R.S.V.P. and get there early.
