Pho Garden is Pho Real

I may enjoy writing about Pho almost as much as I enjoy eating it.  I’m an expert punsmith and the punsibilities associated with crafting a pho review delight me to no end.  Fortunately Pho Garden on Clement does make some seriously solid pho.

Don’t let the sign on the door touting “Pho Garden Challenge” deter you from stepping in to try something created in more reasonable portions.   While there is no way I could personally handle said challenge the thought that someone could choke down two pounds of  combination beef and two additional pounds of noodles all inside an hour is intriguing.  It would be like your own personal episode of Fear Factor unfolding right in front of your eyes.

No one opted into the challenge when i enjoyed my pho on a rainy Saturday evening, but it did appear that a whole family was using the challenge sized bowl to feed FIVE people.  Upon entering the restaurant I was almost off put by how clean the place is.   Most well known Pho places have a healthy amount of “dinge” that contributes to their “character” I was nervous Pho Garden wouldn’t be able to deliver when it came time to dine.   Phortunately the food was photastic and everyone left pho’ll.  Ok enough, enough.

The food was great and the service was quick.  Not really much else you could ask for in a quick service style restaurant like that.  On a side note this particular brand of pho served as a great pre-drinking meal for our trip to Trad’r Sam’s later in the evening.
